Abstract

The high price of fuel, including Elpiji certainly increasingly add to the burden of life. Energy savings are currently being touted by many as an appropriate step that can be done to save Elpiji. Efforts to save the use of Elpiji by adding an Elpiji’s saving tools in the stove’s scheme, which is a tool to produce a gas called HHO or Brown's Gas. Research is done by set generator HHO at gas stove using a cylindrical stainless steel electrodes with various configuraton of electrolyte KOH 4 grams, 8 grams, 12 grams, 13 grams, 14 grams, and 16 grams in every 1,5 litre aquades. Research covers examination to determine the amount of savings in the usage of Elpiji gas stove with the addition of HHO electrolyzer and examination HHO production from electrolyzer HHO. The result of this research is that electrolyte configuraton KOH 13 grams with a cylindrical stainless steel electrodes has biggest savings Elpiji is 16.853% in power is required at 28.8 watts. From examination found that the addition of KOH in the electrolyte solution is not always going to add to savings, the savings will start to fall after the electrolyte solution becomes saturated.
