Abstract

Air minum yang aman dikonsumsi di tentukan berdasarkan syarat kualitas secara fisik,kimia,mikrobiologi dan radio aktif.Saat ini banyak bermunculan usaha/depot air minum isi ulang(DAMIU). Bagi konsumen dirasa lebih praktis karena air tersebut bisa langsung di minum tanpa memasaknya terlebih dahulu.Depertemen Kesehatan sudah melakukan pengujian secara laboratorium contoh air hasil pengolahan DAMIU di Jakarta dengan adanya cemaran bakteri Coliformberkisar 10%-20%.angka tersebut mengindikasikan cemaran mikroorganisme.Untuk melihat lebih jauh cemaran bakteri coliform ini maka dilakukan penelitian dibeberapa DAMIU. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendiskripsikam proses pengolahan air minum,serta menggambarkan kandungan bakteri Coliform dan menganalisis perbedaannya setelah proses pengolahan di beberapa DAMIU. Jenis penelitian menggunakan metode Explanatory dengan populasi penelitian seluruh depot air minum isi ulang sebanyak 13 DAMIU,dan sampel adalah sejumlah total populasi. Depot air minum isi ulangmenggunakan sumber air baku yang berasal dari mata air dan artetis.Pengolahan air minum secara fisik pada DAMIU dengan penyaringan ,sedangkan untuk desinfeksi air minum ada yang menggunakan ozon,ultraviolet serta kombinasi ultraviolet dan ozon. Hasil pemeriksaan secara bacteriologis sumber air baku semua hasilnya positif Bakteri Coliform.Adapun air hasil olahan pada beberapa DAMIU masih ditemukan Bakteri Coliform.Data tsb kemudian dianalisa secara statistik dengan menggunakan ujiKruskall Wallis,di dapatkan nilai p=0,00,lebih kecil dari nilai alfa=0,05, artinya Ho ditolak. Hal ini menunjukan adanya perbedaan kandungan Bakteri Coliform setelah proses pengolahan dibeberapa tempat pengolahan air minum. Air minum agar didapatkan hasil yang baik maka perlu dilakukan pengawasan dan pemeliharaan alat-alat untuk proses pengolahan air minum tersebut. The aim of this research was to describe drinking water treatment process, and to analysis Coliform bacteria total after desinfection process in drinking water treatment depot. This research was an explanatory methods.The population were all drinking water treatment depots in Pekalongan District. Raw water used by drinking water treatment depot from well and artesian.The Physical treatment by screening and desinfection process used ozon, ultraviolet and the combination of ozon and ultraviolet. The result on laboratorium test showed that raw water was indicaded by positif Coliform bacteria.Water treated wais still found positive Coliform bacteria in several drinking water treatment depots. Data result from laboratorium test then was analyzed by statistics test, using Kruskall Wallis test,get p value = 0,00 less than alfa = 0,05.Its means Ho(nil hipotesis)was rejected.It means there were difference Coliform bacteria total after desinfection process in several drinking water treatment depots. To get drinking water with good quality there must be maintenance on drinking water treatment process equipment continously keyword : Bacteria Coliform,drinking water,disinfection process
