Abstract

Nowadays it can be seen that many women take participation in the labor market indicates that the woman is a potential resource for development. However, the potential for relatively large women who have not used optimally when viewed from the outpouring of working hours of women workers at Semarang. Therefore this study aims to determine the effect of income, revenue husband, number of family dependents, age, education on female labor supply labor force measured from the outpouring of work hours. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple linear regression or Ordinary Least Square (OLS) with the labor supply of married women into the dependent variable and five independent variables are income women, husband’s income, number of family, education, age. The data used are primary data collected from interviews with 100 respondents at Semarang. The result of data processing showed the value F of 9.632772 with a probability level of 0.00 and coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.33879. t test analysis showed that independent variables are income, husband’s income, age, number of family, education, significantly affect female labor supply. Husband’s income have more greates about married woman workers.
