MONITORING INFORMATION SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT STATUS IN THE STUDY NUTRITION DISTRICT KEBUMEN HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Abstract

Descent of nutrient status and public health are the impact of economic crisis. At 1998, Kebumen SKPG Data note growing malnutrition from 5 (five) to 57 (fifty seven) children under five years old. Action comprehensive need quick, valid and accurate information because one (1) or more malnutrition case explain KLB. At that time, the nutrition infromation system in Kebumen not yet apply standart form and technical term nutrition status. The aim of this research are make nutrient status form, to assemble nutrient status information and design information system with Geographical Information System (GIS) software. The research is carried out in descriptive qualitative methode, using PSG and GIS software, PSG form, questionare and tape recorder with unit analysis manager in Kebumen Health Departement. Try out are location at three local government clinic as if pilot project with samples 50 (fifteen) children under five years old. From software PSG try out, we know that 1 child (0,7 %) is overweight, 106 child (70,7 %) are good nutrient status, 27 child (18,0 %) are low nutrient status and 16 child (10,6 %) are malnutrition. Maping with software GIS show that 1 local government have minor problem nutrient status (green colour) and 2 local government have major problem nutrient status (red colour).
