Abstract

Dental and oral illnes is one of community deseases, at semarang caries prevalence of Elementary School students 84,8 %, oral and dental hygiene are medium and bad (OHI-S more than 1,2 and 3,1) 48,1 % and 4,2 %. Dental nurse graduated from Dental Nurse Academy (AKG) as same as third level students of profesional capability and good comprehension of Work base. There are performance and productivity to better, in effort of raising dental and oral health. Research purpose is to know the level of third level Dental Nurse’s Academy performance on implementation of placque control and knowledge increasing ofdental and oral health on the Elementary School students. Method of this research with descriptive evaluation program-cross sectional, to identify level of potential performance, observational-crossectional, to measure process performance, and quasi experimental pre test-post test control group design for measured a result performance. Research sample is all of third level of 36 students of Dental Nurse academy, also 420 from 10 Elementary School with implementation placque control (behaviourally) and 420 students from 10 Elementary School (non behaviorally) at Semarang. Indicate of research result shows that : level of potential performance third grade student’s in a perfect even, with 77,8 % perfect and 22,2 % praised. Even level of Process performance, praised with 16,7 % research sample in perfect level, 55,6 % in praised level, and 27,8 % capable level. Students are discharge of DI value : 33,3 % with different of very significant from before and after value of treatment (t = 12,33, p = 0,001). CI 66,7% with different of very significant from before and after value of tratment (t = 8,94, p = 0,001). Also increasing in OHI-S 40 % with different of very significant from before and after value tratment (t = 16,48 %, p = 0,001). Increasing knowledge of oral and dental hygiene 12,5 % with different of significant from before and after value treatment (t=-10,7, p = 0,001 ). Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
