Abstract

Kata Kunci: Filtrasi,Saringan Pasir Lambat dan Filter Kantong, Kekeruhan dan Fe THE COMPARASION OF TURBIDITY AND Fe CONTENT BETWEEN SLOW SAND FILTER AND BAG FILTER AS FILTER MEDIA ON CLEAN WATER IN BOROROWO VILLAGE Water is a serious problem in Bonorowo Districk, more over in dry season. The water of a dug well is turbit and yellowish. The result of pre research : means of turbidity level is 12,37 NTU and decreasing of Fe 1,68 mg/lt. After used Slow Sand Filter, the means of turbidity is 0,61 NTU and decreasing of Fe 0,23 mg/lt, even though if using Bag Filter, means of turbidity level is 3,37 and decreasing of Fe 0,75 mg/lt. Bonorowo village is one of the contructed village of Indonesia Plan which is planned to get simple water processor. The village want it made of fabric (waste of soy sauce factor) and it is called Bag Filter. The aim of research is to know if there is defference between Fe and the turbidity value of water which is filtered by Slow Sand Filter . The kind of research is an experiment. Collecting is used through laboratory test. In knowing the difference, it uses t-test. The water sample is the water of dug well. The result of research : there is adifference of decreasing of Fe and turbidity values uses Bag Filter from 1,68 mg/lt to be 0,75 mg/lt (p-value 0,000). The decreasing of Fe value uses Slow Sand Filter form 1,68 mg/lt to be 0,23 mg/lt (p-value 0,000). The decreasing turbidities value using Bag Filter form 12,37 NTU to be 3,33 NTU (p-value 0,000). The decreasing turbidities value using Bag Filter form 12,37 to be 0,61 NTU (p-value 0,000). The summarize is,there is significant difference in decreasing of Fe and turbidities value using Bag Filter and Slow Sand Filter media, so that a plan of Indonesia PLAN can be continued and the villager camn use that filter. Keyword : The comparasion of turbidity and Fe contect between slow sand filter as filter media on clean water in Bonorowo village
