Analisis of Factors That Have Relationship Attitude Towards Premarital Sexual Intercourse of Señior High School in Sukoharjo Year 2007

Abstract

Adolescent need support from their parents and peer groups. Mass media is one of the information source, which are looked for by them to obtain knowledge about reproductive health. Adolescent who enter puberty period (the reproductive organs begin mature) Hill experience instable emotion. Their ability to control emotion depends on level of Emotional Quetion (EQ). Its factor Hill influence attitude towards premarital sexual intercourse. Type of the research was an observational using Cross - Sectional approach. Number is simple was 100 person who were student of Señor Hogh School in Sukoharjo. Data were analeyzed by using descriptive analysis, and Pearson Product Moment test. The factors of emocional quetion (p value = 0,0001), knowledge of reproductive health (p value = 0,013), a role of parents and peer group (p value = 0,0001) and a role of mass media (p value = 0,0009) respectively significantly have relationship with attitude tiwards premaritak sexual intercourse on students of Señor High School in Sukoharjo. Emocional Quetion, Knowledge of reproductive health, a role of parent and peer group, and a role of mass media have significant relationship with attitude toward premarital sexual intercourse on students of Señor High School in Sukoharjo. Improvement of students’ knowledge about reproductive health shoul be done to improve their attitude tiward prematurital sexual intercourse through development of currículo in accordance with educational level and providing reproductive health services for adolescents.
