Abstract
Sigandu Beach attractions, Batang has great potential to be developed. But a high potential is still poorly supported by ease of access to reach the tourist sites, where the number and departure frequency of public transport to attractions Sigandu Beach is low and not optimal development of both tourism facilities and infrastructure. The purpose of this study was to identify factors that affect the demand for visitor attractions Sigandu Beach, estimate the magnitude of the economic value derived visitor attractions Sigandu beach, determine the strategy development effort Beach attractions Sigandu. The method used in primary data collection with using purposive sampling method. For secondary data, has been used method of documentation from the parties concerned. This study took a sample of 100 respondents and 10 respondents key persons. Quantitative approach used is the travel cost method is processed using a device Eviews econometric 4.1, and then to calculate the value of economic valuation using the consumer surplus approach. As for the descriptive statistics, The analysis used Hierarchy Process (AHP) by the Expert Choice Version 9.0. With the travel cost method showed that of the six variables in research ie travel expenses Sigandu Coast, a tourist attraction travel expenses Other (Beach Thistle), income, education, age, and distance, an influential significantly on the frequency of visits to the beach is the variable cost Sigandu Sigandu Coast trip, travel expenses other attractions (Beaches Thistle), income, and distance at a significance level of 5%. Economic valuation for Sigandu beach is Rp 26.739.188.00 with consumer surplus value per year is Rp. 353,838.07 While the AHP approach, showing that the alternative is taken in the overall development Sigandu Coast is developing as a tourist attraction Sigandu Beach Regency belle Rod with a value of 0.128 weight, Community Economic Empowerment Program Coastal (PEMP) with a value of 1.108 weight, and provide means and facilities the investor with a value of 0.103 weight.
