An earthquake hazard mitigation was done by identify site effect of Pekalongan City. The results of this research are map of dominant frequency (fo), amplification factor (Ao), and vunerability index (Kg) of earthquake hazard. Microtremor acuisition was done at 42 location on 11th to 13th August 2009 in Pekalongan City. The microtremor data was processed in Geopsy Program. First data processsing give us H/V curve by HVSR method. HVSR method was used to extract information about dominant frequency (fo), amplitude as amplification factor (Ao). Then vunerability index value come from Kg = Ao 2 / fo. The results are two classification area by their vunerability index value; minumin closure area that located in northwest-north of the city with Kg value about 4 to 20, and maximum closure area that identified as most vunerable area in this city. Maximum closure area located in middle-east of the city with Kg value about 24 to 54 and in middle-south with Kg value about 20 to 32.
