Abstract
Penyakit diare masih banyak terdapat di daerah pedesaan,dan diare pada anak balita diDesa Pagedongan Kecamatan Banjarnegara Kabupaten Banjarnegara tahun 2002 sebesar 23,87% dan meningkat angka kesakitannya di tahun 2003 menjadi 25,89% menduduki peringkat ke-3 dari 10 besar penyakit.dengan kejadiaan diare pada anak balita di Desa pagedongan Kecamatan banjarnegara Kabupaten Banjarnegara Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan studidengan besar sampel 35 anak balita dari populasi 560 anak. Hubungan variabel-variabel tersebut dilakukan uji statistik Chi Squaredengan CI 95% yang diolah dengan program SPSS menghasilkan sebagai berikut, bahwa kualitas mikrobiologis air bersih (p<0,05) berarti ada hubungan dengan kejadiian diare nilai X2=7,089,RP=9,CI 95% (1,562-51,870). Masyarakat diharapkan untuk ikut peduli terhadap kejadiaan diare dengan menjaga kualitas air bersih yang digunakan sehari-hari dan membangun sarana air bersih yang sehat melalui bimbingan dan bantuan dari petugas kesehatan dan instansi terkait. Kata Kunci: Diare,kualitas mikrobilogis air bersih ,anak balita ASSOCIATION BETWEEN MICROBIOLOGICAL QUALITY OF CLEAN WATER WITH DIARRHEA INCIDENCE IN CHILDREN UNDER 5 YEARS AT PAGEDONGAN VILLAGE BANJARNEGARA SUBDISTRICT BANJARNEGARA DISTRIC Diarrhea is still common disease in rural area and children diarrhea incidence at Pagedongan Village Banjarnegara Sub district Banjarnegara District in 2002 is 2387% and the incidence of disease increased in 2003 becoming 25,89% occupying the third grade from 10 main diseases. This research aimed to determine the association between microbiological quality of clean water with diarrhea incidence in children under 5 years at Pagedongan Village Banjarnegara Sub District Banjarnegara District by using cross sectional approach study with total sample 35 children under 5 years from 560 children population. The correlation between variables statisticaly tested with Chi Square by CI 95% that processed with SPSS program yeild the following; microbilogical quality of clean water (p<0,05) mean there was association with the diarrhea incidence x2=7,089,RP=9,CI 95% (1,562-51,870). The community was expected to decrease diarrhea incidence by taking care of clean water quality, which consumed everyday and develop health clean water installation through education and from related institution and health provider.
