The variables that have significant relationship with implementation of active management of period III are supervision (p=0.006), incentive (p=0.026), punishment (p=0.012), attitudes (p=0.003), and motivation (p=0.005). The hospital management should improve implementation of supervision, evaluate the result of supervision, provide incentive in accordance with midwives’ work performance, and implement punishment in accordance with infraction. Beside that, the management should provide opportunity for midwives to continue their study, to follow training, and to promote their position. Indonesia Midwifery Association could evaluate the result of training for midwives that has been performed in accordance with standard of Normal Childbirth Care.
