Abstract

One of the earthquake disaster mitigation is by applying seismic analysis method for building construction. The information about subsurface rock structure and value of maximum ground acceleration (PGA) is part of the seismic analysis of the plan. Interpretation of subsurface rock structure by geoelectrical methods based on differences in rock resistivity, while the seismic method used to find the value of ground acceleration based on a micro wave recordings from seismometer data. Value of apparent resistivity field acquisition results in the area of Tanjung Selor, East Kalimantan are processed using IPI2WIN program to learn the value of resistivity in each layer and was validated by geological information. Seismometers recording data in the form of the velocity signal is converted into acceleration signal using the program PITSA then analyzed using DADiSP program to determine the value of PGA in the study area. The results of this study concluded that the area under a surface layer Selor promontory of limestone layer of sandy, silt stone and limestone to the top layer. As for the bedrock layer is composed of tuff. The maximum ground acceleration value for this region is 0.0074 g to 0017 g
