Abstract

Within the development era, cellular phones are not only used for communication purposes but can also be used to access information purposes which we need quickly and efficiently with the internet oriented applications via WAP technology. In this final task discussed about expert system of handling damage single needle sewing machine which would accessible via cell phone that has the WAP browser and GPRS facilities. Knowledge representation which used is production rules with inference engine backward chaining and forward chaining. The results of the application expert system of handling damage single needle sewing machine expected to give solutions how to repair type of damage that occurred.
