Abstract

Air limbah merupakan salah satu pencmar bagi lingkungan yang dapat memberikan dampak negatif berupa gangguan terhadap kesehatan, gangguan terhadap kehidupan biotik dan gangguan terhadap keindahan sehingga air limbah yang dihasilkan perlu mengalami pengolahan sebelum dibuang kelingkungan. Rumah sakit Roemani mempunyai unit pengolahan namun selama ini belum pernah di periksa kandungannya sehingga belum diketahui bagaimana efektifitasnya. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektifitas dari unit pengolahan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian penjelasan(explanatory) yaitu menjelaskan perbedaan kualitas air limbah sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancangan study cros sectional. Sampel diambil 5 kali pengambilan pada pukul 02.00, 06.30, 11.00, 16.00 dan 21.00 Hasil penelitian rata-rata pH influen 6,8 dan efluen 7,0 dari uji t test didapat 5,2 menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang bermakna kadar pH sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan. Hasil penelitian rata-rata kadar TSS influen 23,61 mg/l dan efluen 10,52 mg/l dari uji t test di dapat 9,6 menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang bermakna kadar TSS sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan. Hasil pengukuran kadar BOD5 influen 46,6 mg/l dan efluen 11,82 mg/l dari uji t test di dapat 8,1 menunjukkan ada perbedaan kadar BOD5 sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan. Hasil penelitian rata-rata kadar COD influen 88,45 mg/l dan efluen 24,5 mg/l dari uji t test didapat 10,4 menunjukkan ada perbedaan yang bermakna kadar COD sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan. Hasil pengukuran rata-rata kadar influen NH3influen 0,955 dan effluen 0,168 dari uji t test di dapat 7,4 menunjukkan ada perbedaan kadar NH3 sebelum dan sesudah pengolahan. Hasil pengolahan tersebut masih sesuai dengan KepMen No 58/Men LH/12/1995 tentang baku mutu limbah cair bagi kegiatan rumah sakit kecuali untuk NH3diatas baku mutu sehingga dapat disarankan air limbah sebelum dibuang dilakukan penyaringan misalnya dengan zeolit agar air limbah untuk kadar NH3 aman dibuang ke lingkungan. This research in order to know how efectivity processing unit. This research is explanatory research, that methode that used is devicing of study cross sectional. Sample taken five timer on 02.00 AM, 06.30 AM, 11.00 AM, 16.00 PM, and 21.00 PM. The result of research rate mean 6,8 pH influent and 7,0 efluent. From test of T test had god 5,2 so there is deferent pH before and after processing. Result of research TSS influent rate mean 23,61 mg/L and 10,52 mg/L efluent from test of T test had be god 9,6 so there is different between TSS before and after processing. The result of research rate mean 46,6 mg/L for BOD5 influent and 11,82 mg/L for efluent from tes of T test had be god 8,1 so there is different BOD5 before and after processing. The result of processing standard within measure quality of specified as according to KepMen LH No. 58/MenLH/12/1995 about standard quality of waste liquid to actifity of hospital axcept for NH3 still above standard quality so that can be suggested by waste water before thrown to be to screening for example with zeolit.
