Abstract

Badan Rumah Sakit Daerah Blora menghasilkan limbah cair dengan kadar NH3 masih tinggi. Kadar NH3 yang tinggi akan mengakibatkan penurunan oksigen terlarut dalam air sehingga terjadi perubahan warna air dan timbul bau yang tidak sedap. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menget diameter efektif zeolit dalam menurunkan kadar NH3 pada limbah cair BRSD Blora. Jenis penelt yg digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan rancangan Pretest Post Test Control Group Design. Perlakuan gradasi diameter zeolit dilakukan dengan variasi diameter zeolit serta satu perlakuan tanpa pemeberian zeolit, sedagkan replikasi sebanyak 5 kali. Sampel diambil dari limbah cair rumah sakit Blora. Pengolahan dan analisa data dengan uji Anova program SPSS Versi 10. Hasil penelt menunjukkan kadar NH3 sebelum perlakuan berkisar antara 0,46 mg/l sampai 0,59 mg/l sedangkan setelah perlakuan rerata kadar NH3 menjadi 0,41 mg/l sampai 0,07 mg/l. Berdasarakan program SPSS Versi 10 terdapat perbedaan kemampuan dari gradasi diameter zeolit dalam menurunkan kadar NH3. Diameter zeolit paling efektif secara statistik adalah diameter 4 mm dengan diameter optimal 4,5 mm. IT can affect decreasing of disolved oxygen in water that cause change in water colour and make bad smell. This research aimed to know an effective diameter of zeolit in decreasing NH3 level in liquid waste at Blora hospital. That rearch used Quasy Eksperiment Method with Pretes Post Test Control Group Design. Diameter level treatment by four variation of giving zeolit and one treatment without zeolit even replication is held five times. samples are taken from liquid waste at general hospital Blora. Analyzing and processing data use Anova test SPSS Versi 10 program. The research result shows that the average of NH3 level before treatment has range from 0,46 mg/l to 0,59 mg/l even after treatment NH3 level range from 0,41 mg/l to 0,07 mg/l. There is difference capability from zeolit diameter level in decreasing NH3 content.
