Abstract

Outpatient services at a health centre are as alternative of health services at sub district level. High number of visit is to be indicator of public appraisal towards health facilities. Willingness to revisit has a close relationship with level of patient’s satisfaction, whereas patient’s satisfaction is influenced by quality of services. Data at Muara Teweh Health Centre in the past two years (2005-2006), number of outpatient visit increased 8.69%, and at Lanjas Health Centre, number of outpatient visit decreased 22.07 %. Aim of this research was to analyze the factors that influenced to revisit of iutpatient medication at both of health centers. Type of this research was survey method using cross sectional approach. Sample was carried out by accidental sampling towards patients who took outpatient services at the Health Centre. Overall, category of cost to obtain medication at the Health Centre is low and medium. Most of respondents spend medication cost from their pocket money. Distance to the Health Centre is not far. Time for services is too long. Services which are provided by doctor and nurse are sufficient. Physical facilities and Health Centre environment are good. Most of respondents are willingness to revisit at outpatient medication of the Health Centre. Variables that have significant relationship with revisit of outpatient medication at Muara Teweh and Lanjas Health Centers are cost, distance, trip time, length of services, needs for obtaining health services, doctor’s services, nurse’s services, physical facilities, and Health Centre environment.
