FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KONDISI FINANCIAL DISTRESS PERUSAHAAN PERBANKAN YANG LISTING DI BEI TAHUN 2006 - 2008

Abstract

The aims of this study is to analyze financial ratio CAR, accomplishment of PPAP, NPL, BOPO, NIM, ROA, ROE and LDR (CAMEL) to predict the financial distress condition of banking companies which is listing in BEI. CAMEL method which is the standard of Indonesian Bank SE BI No. 7/10/DPNP 31 Maret 2005 used to predict the financial distress condition banking companies in order to assess bank healthy level. The problem of this research is caused by the contradiction (research gap) of the previous research. Purposive sampling method used to take the sample of this research with 25 sample banking companies that suite with the criterion. The data that used was secondary data obtained from Indonesian Banking Directory from 2006 until 2008. The research method used to analyze the hypothesis of this research was logistic regression. The results shows that CAR, NPL, and BOPO ratio significant and positively influence the prediction of the financial distress condition banking companies which is listing in BEI. Accomplishment ratio of PPAP and ROE had a negative but not significant effect. LDR ratio significant and negatively influence the prediction of the financial distress condition banking companies which is listing in BEI. ROA ratio had a positive but not significant effect.
