Abstract
analysis biodiesel coconut and work short exchange test in diesel engine explain that research was done to analyze properties and work performance of diesel engine with biodiesel of coconut oil, which having the fuel composition B0, B10 and B20. Analyze of work performance of diesel engine was evaluated from efficiency and power / energy. Research was done in the laboratory with using diesel engine test type Kubota RD 85 DI with generator Mindong ST-5 and with belt transmission V type B. Based on processing of data, it show that fuel B10 have efficiency most optimal, where efficiency of mixture B10 is higher than diesel fuel and other mixture. This is mean that biodiesel of coconut oil is competent used as the mixture diesel fuel. Research in the future will be better to be done on the mixture biodiesel coconut oil less that 20%
