Abstract
The aims of this research was to study accumulation rate of Pb+2 in King C t Fishes (Clarias gariepenus), so was decreasing rate of Pb42 in waste 7ater of pulp and paper industry. Six glass vessels were filled the mixture of pulp and paper waste water and fresh water with 40% volume of pulp and paper waste water, and were filled with ten King Cat Fishes which is 60 days old and 5 — 7,5 cm body long. Those vessels were arranged in two group. A half were done b' aeration and the rest were not.. After 24 hours, all of the samples was taken up and analyzed to determine Pb+2 content by atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS). Analyzed also done after 48 hours, 72 hours and 96 hours at the same method. The result showed, that Pb+2 content in King Cat Fishes increased by th time tratment. Pb42 content in head of fishes was greater by aeration than that in body of fishes without aeration. Pb+2 content in wastewater dcreased by the time tratment. The decreasing rate of Pb+2 in waste wafer was greater by aeration than that of without aeration.
