Abstract

Manufacturing industry was chosen as fish meal for the activities of apprentices, because the fish meal-making business has good prospects. Flour fish is a material source of animal protein feed for poultry and its use could reach 45% of the total ration. This causes the need for increasing fish meal increase with the increase in poultry population. MKU activities conducted at UD. Sinar Laut Batang for 4 months and 6 followed by the students. Superficial internship activities are business proposals in the field of fishing industry. MKU activities proved capable of providing work experience and self-employed, especially in the fishing industry for internships and participants are able to solve the existing problems in the internship partners. Keywords: Internship entrepreneurship, fish meal, business plan INTRODUCTION Manufacturing industry fish meal as a field selected for this internship activity due to fish meal-making business has good prospects. Flour fish is a material source of animal protein feed for poultry and its use could reach 45% of the total ration. This leads to the need for flour fish increased in line with the increase in poultry population. The trend of livestock population, especially chicken laying in Indonesia in 2002 increased compared to the year 2000. laying chicken population in 2000 amounted to 57.6 million head rose to 201.1 million head in years 2002. the percentage increase in layer chicken population from 1999 to 2002 was 55.47% (BPS, 2003).
