This is a posivistic research using quantitative method. The sample used is total sample or census. The statistic used is descriptive statistic using cross-tab analysis, chi square test (x2), and contingency coefficient (C). Based on the analysis, there are 9 (nine) variables which significantly influence the physical adjustments that are the age of the head of household, number of occupants in the house, occupant’s perception toward the quality of the building materials, the head of household’s occupation, the head of household’s income, family income, occupants’ business activity in the house, vehicle ownership, and goods ownership in the house. Practical recommendations given are the need of active participation from the local government to assist its community during the physical adjustments and the government’s effort to improve its’ community welfare.
