Abstract

Amplitude variation with offset (AVO) inversion and amplitude inversion methods could be used to detect and estimate reservoir, by using results attribute extraction that was connected with the changes in P-wave velocity, S-wave velocity and density. This methods in is used to identify fluid hidrocarbon mapping on F6 and F5 layers Upper Cibulakan formation with limestone lithology. The AVO inversion has been done to find the fluid factor and Sign(NI)*gradient attribute is used as hydrocarbon indicator. Lambda*rho reflectivity and mu*rho reflectivity are used for amplitude inversion process. AVO graphic has been analyzed to find AVO response to determine AVO attribute value. Lambda*rho and mu*rho crossplot from data log also has been done to observe the incompressibility and rigidity value of reservoir zone. The amplitude inversion also has been done to find lambda*rho and mu*rho value with sparse spike inversion method. The amplitude inversion results was obtained by the lambda*rho value represent incompresibility which is sensitive to fluid contents and mu*rho which is related to rigidity give information about lithology. The results of horizon map analysis from F6 and F5 layers AVO attribute inversion can predict the spreading of gas reservoir laterally with negative fluid factor and negative Sign (NI)*gradient attribute value. The results of horizon map analysis lambda*rho from F6 and F5 layers can determine the spreading of fluida with value >13 GPa g/cm³. Eventhough the reservoir rigidity value based on the horizon map profile from F6 and F5 layers was >15 GPa g/cm³.
