ANALISIS PERTUMBUHAN EKONOMI DAN TINGKAT KETIMPANGAN DI KABUPATEN/KOTA YANG TERGABUNG DALAM KAWASAN KEDUNGSEPUR TAHUN 2004-2008

Abstract

Kedungsepur is a Particular Region which is included in the National Spatiai Planning. Therefore, this region is planned to be the center of national growth. In encouraging the region development optimally, it is needed the solid relationship interregion in Kedungsepur Region. Such efforts in supporting the relationship, for example is by discovering the potential sectors across the region. Kedungsepur economic growth as a whole continues to increase. Average economic growth Kedungsepur in 2004 until 2008 approximately 4.86%, while the average economic growth of districts in Kedungsepur still many who are under 4.86% except for 5.60% Semarang City. The difference of economic growth in each region indicates a disparity of income Kedungsepur. Income disparities between regions can lead to problems of development and economic instability. This study aimed to analyze the disparities between regions and economic development district, to analyze the sectors likely to be developed in order to encourage economic growth, classify regions and sectors of the district in Kedungsepur based on growth rate and per capita income / contribution. The analytical method used is an index analysis Williamson, Location Quotient (LQ), Shift Share and Typology Klassen. The results of this study explains that: manufacturing industry and agricultural sectors, including sectors that have the potential to boost economic growth each district / city in Kedungsepur. Income disparities between regions in Kedungsepur in the period 2004-2008 include low (<0.5) and tend to remain. Based on these findings suggestions that can be delivered to reduce the income disparity between districts is to implement development policies that prioritize the areas that are still relatively behind without ignoring areas that are already developed and grown rapidly. Development of potential sectors that have become the basic sector in each region in order to accelerate the rate of economic growth, particularly in the agricultural sector agribusiness and agro-industrial sector by creating inter-sectoral linkages.
