Sistem Informasi Untuk Mendukung Pengaksesan Pasien di Puskesmas Sidorejo Lor Salatiga

Abstract

Puskesmas Management Information System is developed to overcome two problems of the Puskesmas Sidorejo Lor Salatiga which are problem to access patient record and problem on generating regular Puskesmas report. To solve the first problem, Puskesmas Management Information System will provide a search facility using the existing computer in Puskesmas on the registration section. This will help the registration officer to find the medical record card for appropriate patients, especially when the patients forgot to bring their identity cards. To solve the second problem, Puskesmas Management Information System will provide facility for inputting medical status and stock of medicine as well as producing the required regular report automatically. The information system also gives added value and support to Puskesmas management on decision making activities. System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology will be used as the overall framework for developing the new information system, for assessing project feasibility, studying and analyzing current system, defining end user requirement, choosing solution from candidate solutions phases, to designing new system, acquiring hardware and software, and constructing and implementing the new system phases. Specially on design phase, Pohan and Bahri’s model will be used extensively for designing the new information system, as well as Physical DFD for analyzing and studying the existing system. To ensure Puskesmas Management Information System is better than the existing manual system, the new system is benchmarked to the manual one. The approach is by comparing the time required to produce historical monthly report. The result shows that the new system is faster 4-5 times than the manual system on producing the historical monthly report. Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
