Abstract
With the government program on energy conversion from kerosene to LPG, the LPG consumption will increase. This will result in rising prices of biofuel. Hence the need for saving devices that reduce fuel consumption. The tool is elektrolizer HHO gas which produces HHO or Brown Gas. Testing is done by adding elektroliser HHO in gas stove using a plate-shaped stainless steel electrodes with various concentration of NaOH electrolyte solution 1 gram, 2 grams, 3 grams, 4 grams, 5 grams, and 6 g in each 1.5 liters aquades. The study involved testing to determine the amount of savings in the use of LPG gas stove with the addition of HHO elektrolizer and production testing of the amount of HHO elektrolizer. Results obtained from this study is that the concentration of 5 grams of NaOH electrolyte with plates shaped stainless steel electrodes to produce the greatest savings of LPG is 19.10% with the electrical power required at 20.76 watts. From the test in mind that with the addition of NaOH in the electrolyte solution is not always going to increase savings.
