Abstract

Production planning is part of operational planning in the company that holds very important role, especially for a company that produces various types of products. Companies have a variety of goals, objectives which contain different aspects or even contradictory. Therefore, we need a method that can provide the optimal solution which is the intersection (trade-off) of these goals. Linear Goal Programming methods can be used in the production planning because it can solve optimization problems with more than one purpose (multi objective). One method commonly used in completing the model go round destination with a modified simplex. Furthermore, this method will be applied in production planning at the company's good herb. As for the goals to be achieved in sequence is to meet the demand of products, maximize sales revenue, minimize production costs, maximize utility machine, minimizing overtime and minimize the costs of quality. Simulation results show that the combination of products of linear goal programming optimization proved more profitable, one of them seen from the more amount of their profits than if the firm produces according to the number of requests.
