Abstract

The implementation of wireless communication system as a transfer media in computer network growing rapidly in recent years. This grows make information exchange and communication become easier and faster. In this final project, monitoring system of humidity and temperature constructed is going to be wireless delivered into computer by using data communication at range frequency 2,4 GHz. The 2,4GHz frequency module concerned in this final project is ZigBee/XBee PRO, i.e RF module that using IEEE standard protocol 802.15.4. Sensor which used for measuring temperature and humidity is SHT11. While microcontroller AVR ATMega8535 is being used for the data processing. The results of the design tool of temperature and humidity measurement showed that the temperature measured by SHT have errors ± 1 ° C while the humidity is measured differences ± 20%. And the ZigBee module can deliver data at maximum range up to 90 meter indoor, and up to 200 meter in line sight.
