Abstract

Nowadays security system is very important. Person’s mobility of a person at the higher current, so that the security condition of the house is not always monitored, for this reason security system that can be accessed directly from a distant place is needed to be developed. In this Final Project an implementation of security control system door. In previous research a home security system has been developed, but it is not equipped with EEPROM as an electronic key and as well as it is not completed with security-enhanced wireless communications and automatic alarm. From these facts, it can be concluded that a door security device based short messages that can detect the continuous home security. Therefore ,it is expected that using this tool, the risk of theft can be handled home early. The design starts with the minimum system Microcontroller AVR AT mega 8535 used to retrieve and send data via SMS from your mobile phone data cable to connect and manage received SMS data and data processed is used to determine a home security conditions. The minimum system also serves to manage the data obtained from the electronic key, in the from of data sent from the external EEPROM. In the testing stage, the system can work well and it can be shown by sent messages has been sent by the system to home owners, neighbors and police station, however there is still a failure of the three servers are tested, this may be caused by these networks are still weak in Central Java, In addition there are differences in the speed of message reception at the time used to test the system, caused by traffic or network activities at the time of the experiment conducted.
