Abstract

The research about refractive index change in a flimsy coat cause by magnetic field have done by using Michelson Interferometer. Transparent materials used flin glass with thick 1 mm and flimsy coat ZnO (Zincite). External Magnetic field which passed to the transparent materials reach the order of 184,95 mT in bobbin have been given by a soft magnet and awakened by conducting the alternating current. To know change of refractive index is that happened done by calculating change of frinji. Laser ray used by He-Ne laser with l = 632,8 nm and output power of 1 mW. From research result got that after transparent materials get influence of magnetic field, hence happened change of refractive index in the materials. This matter is shown with existence of degradation frinji pattern after affecting the external magnetic field. Ever greater of given magnetic field will smaller of frinji pattern.
