Citric acid needed is food additive in food industry development. Processed of citric acid is batch, fed-batch, semi continue and continue made use of microorganism. The research was used immobilized Aspergillus niger ITBCC L74 in immobilized column to obtained high pure product. Fermentation medium is molasses which by product sugar industry, because sugar content in molasses is higher. Characteristic of molasses was analyzed to be known MgO, Fe, Mn and Zn content. The content were approximately 0,37%, 226 ppm, 31 ppm and 10 ppm, content of sugar is 43,98 % and pH 5,6. Productivity of cell will be incread product, and then to be determined to grow of optimum time is fine product with total spora on seven days reached 14,7 x 107 spora/ml medium, with total acid reached 0,16609 N and citric acid content is 0,0029 N (1,7415 %) and yield 17,65 %, pH 3,94 and biomass 0,5041 gr/ml and sugar content is 8,44 %. Increasing of biomass showed of activity cell. To be increasing total acid content was added suplemen VCO, because fat can be increased productivity. Variation of added VCO 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 %, the greatest of total acid is increased 3 % (v/v) VCO reached 100 %. Datas on batch process to be made for immobilized cell on semi-continue process. Total acid product on 21 th is 0,11326 N with total acid 0,00773 N (6,82 %) and yield 23,52 % with increased 3 % (v/v) VCO total acid is 0,1298 N with total acid 0,0092 N (7,11 %) and yield 28,02 %.
