Low Impact Development (LID) is a technique for managing local strorm water that can be utilized as a regional flood control system. As a storm management technique, LID technique is used to maintain the existing hydrology condition of the development area by maintaining infiltration rate, filtering, detaining storm water and also increasing surface roughness. Negatif impact of regional development can be minimized by utilizing natural drainage system, maximizing storm water detention and maintaining or increasing time of concentration. LID is a tool for managing negative impact of storm water on a regional development, therfore the regional of economic growth can be increased. Keywords: Storm water management, Urban Drainage, Low Impact Development .
