Abstract
Have been done by experiment concerning influence of external magnetic field to laser ray polarization angle at transparent materials. Transparent materialses used is sand sugar solution and MgSO4 solution with a few concentrations (5 %, 10 %, 15 %,20 %, 25 %, 30 %, and 35 %) Maximum magnetic field used 178 mT. The magnetic field yielded from girded enamel wire to soft magnetic with 810 coils, the circumferences of enamel wire is 0.8 mm, flowed by maximum AC current 2 A. In this research will be studied the vibration direction rotation of electric fields b from transmitted laser trace of external magnetic fields in the transparent material,.the laser light passing by Polarisator and the different of b have analized on Analisator. From measurement at all of solution, result of obtained experiment show tendency similar with theory. That is more bigger magnetic field given also change of polarization angle more bigger too. Result of experiment also indicate if solution concentration more bigger also change of polarization angle more bigger too. The different of polarization angle can knowed with change value of gradient, the gradient value from MgSO4 solution for magnetic field equal 178 mT, concentration 35 %, and the direction vibration light parallel with the magnetic field is 0,103 ± 0,015 0/mT. Mean while the gradient value from sugar solution with the same marking is 0,085 ± 0,013 0/mT.
