Abstract

According to data of visit in year 2007, the average of Bed Occupancy Rate (BOR) at Inpatient Room of RAA Soewondo in Pati District was about 77.05%. Its value was still inside range of BOR standard namely 70-80%. Nevertheless, quality of nursing care services performed by team nursing was not satisfied. In fact, most of patients were not satisfied due to late in providing services (66%). To improve quality of nursing care services, the first step was to improve effectiveness of team nursing through identifying the factors that related to effectiveness of team nursing like role, activity, interpersonal relationship, and work environment. Aim of this research was to analyze influence of team nursing effectiveness towards quality of nursing care services at Inpatient Room of RAA Soewondo in District of Pati. This was observational research using survey method and cross sectional approach to explain influence of independent variables towards dependent variable. Population was team nursing. Data were collected using questionnaires for patients who fulfilled inclusion criteria namely hospitalized with minimum 3 days. Data were analyzed using method of bivariate (Chi-Square test) and multivariate (Logistic Regression test). Based on bivariate analysis, variables that have significant relationship with quality of nursing care services are role (X2 = 80.023, p = 0.0001), activity (X2 = 43.406, p = 0.0001), interpersonal relationship (X2 = 13.307, p = 0.0001), and work environment (X2 = 36.551, p = 0.0001). Based on multivariate analysis, variable of role is the dominant factor that influence quality of nursing care services (Exp (b) = 120.950 and p = 0.0001). Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
