Abstract
The system of information service about the health of mother and baby in Lamongan Public Health Center in Lamongan regency had a problem in collecting data. The data were recorded in more than one book. The institution had not used computerized system yet to store the data. So, when the data are needed to be reported, the institution finds difficulty to collect them because they are recoded in many books. As a result, it cannot report them on time. This research uses qualitative and quantitative method. The qualitative method is used to assist the process identify in each step in methodologies of system development. Based on the methodology, it is hopefully, at the end is able to design about a system of information to service of providing the data about the health of mother and baby. It will be used to support to evaluate the service about the Medicare of mother and child in Lamongan Public Health Centre. Moreover, it is also used to evaluate the quality of the information before and after the system is used. The result of the research indicates that the computerize system is able to overcome the problems deal with previous system. It can bee seen, there is a significant progress in average overall. When Lamongan Public Health Center uses a system of collecting data manually, the result of the evaluation is about 2,78 On the other hand, after developing computerize system, the average increases up to 2,94.
