CORRELATION BETWEEN PEER ACCEPTANCE PERCEPTION WITH RELATIONAL AGGRESSION TENDENTION ON GIRL AT ELEMENTARY HIGH SCHOOL 27 SEMARANG

Abstract

This research was held to revealed the relationship between peer acceptance perception with relational agression tendention at girl in elementary high school 27 Semarang and to find out peer acceptance perception influence to relational agression tendention. The subject of this research are 45 student at class eight in SMPN 27 Semarang. Researcher used self report to collect the data. Peer acceptance perception and relational agresión tendention scale was used as instrument. Peer acceptance perception consist of 37 item (α = 0,927) and relational agressión tendention 36 item ((α = 0,927). Data analized with simple regression methode and find correlation coeficient rxy = -0,393 with p 0,007 (p<0,05). This research accept hypothesis. There is an negative relationsgip between peer acceptance perception with relational agresión tendention. It’s means more high peer acceptance perception, more low relational agressión tendention and more low peer acceptance perception, more high relational agressión tendention. Based on the result of data análisis, determination coeficient are R 0,155. it’s means that peer acceptance perception have effective contribute amount 15,5 % to relational agressión While equal to other factors that influence to relational agressión tendention such as personal, social and situational factor that are not revelaed in this research.
