Abstract
Interpersonal communication made by a peasant entrepreneurs not much discussed in psychological research, although many psychological factors that influence in communicating with farmers who have limitations in educational level, economic, health and knowledge. The success of an entrepreneur farmers in developing his company's interest in Bantul bring scientists to do research on interpersonal communication conducted owners. Systems business partnership made in these companies is the only and has been holding thousands of small farmers, so that communication skills are needed to provide information about the planting program that the company is still new and relatively unfamiliar to the farmers. The purpose of this study is to describe how an entrepreneur farmer interpersonal communication, which has successfully run his company. This qualitative research model using a case study approach, because the case study research can highlight several factors that govern communication in a particular situation and describe its uniqueness. Research subjects in this study a 61-year-old farmer entrepreneur who has successfully brought new planting program and works with thousands of small farmers. Subject participants drawn from business communications environment, which consists of a family, employees, farmers, and residents about environmental subjects. Based on the results of the analysis in this study, a peasant entrepreneur also has a high ability in partnering and communicating like other entrepreneurs in general. Communication environment is very diverse and many have limitations in the level of education, economics, and knowledge, requires an employer to better understand farmer, and make a lot of tolerance. Factor status and social roles of much help in getting the trust of the farmers. In addition an understanding of the context plays an important role in disseminating information, through the socialization of agriculture, to farmers who have a model for dissemination of information from the mouth by mouth.
