Abstract
ABSTRAK PERBEDAAN PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PROPOFOL DAN PENTHOTAL TERHADAP AGREGASI TROMBOSIT Arliansah*Widya Istanto**Noor Wijayahadi*** Latar belakang penelitian : Perdarahan perioperatif merupakan masalah yang sering dihadapi dalam setiap operasi. Penggunaan obat anestesi induksi mempunyai pengaruh menghambat agregasi trombosit. ABSTRACT THE DIFFERENCE EFFECTS OF PROPOFOL AND PENTHOTAL ADMINISTRATION ON PLATELET AGGREGATION Arliansah*Widya Istanto**Noor Wijayahadi*** Background : Perioperative bleeding is a serious and common problem in surgery. Some induction anesthetic agents are thought to inhibit platelet aggregation. The propofol and penthotal had effect on platelet aggregation. Objective : Determine the difference effects of propofol and penthotal administration on platelet aggregation. Method : An Randomized Clinical Control Trial study on 34 patients who received general anesthesia, divided into two groups (n: 17). Both groups received Propofol or Penthotal were examined TAT before and five minutes after induction All data were analyzed by pair t-test and independent t-test for Propofol or Penthotal and platelet aggregation. Result : Maximal platelet aggregation before and after the administration of propofol and penthotal is significant difference. In propofol and penthotal group, the percentage of maximal platelet aggregation was 54,93 ±9,38 and 66,26 ±8,94 (p=0,0001). We found 64,71% hypoaggregation, 17,65% mild hypo aggregation and 17,65% normo aggregation on propofol group, and 11,76% of hypo aggregation, 23,53% mild hypoaggregation and 64,71% normoaggregation on penthotal group. Statistically, propofol caused significant hypoaggregation of platelet compared to penthotal). Conclusion : Propofol significantly lowers the percentage of maximal platelet aggregation and causes more hypoaggregation than penthotal. Keywords : propofol, penthotal, ADP, platelet aggregation
