Abstract

Design of measuring and controlling water discharge on water resevoir based microcontroller AT89S51. The design of this made to measure and control the discharge of fresh water that existed at the temporary tanks before being distributed to regions in need. Because often uneven distribution of water in each region and also wasteful use of water by consumers. By using an optocoupler as a sensor that works for chopping disc results driven water flow is assumed as the velocity of water flow. Electrodes as sensors to control the discharge of water at the water tanks before being distributed to each region. Electrode which will sound an alarm triggered on the server and the operator, the alarm function on the server to tell the server to the server to stop the measurement. And alarms alert the operator to the operator immediately shut down the main reservoir of the bath faucet manually. Borland Delphi 7 as the display hardware on your PC / Laptop and digital processing of the results of an optocoupler to discharge water. Using RS-232 converter as a serial communication between microcontroller AT89S51 with PC / Laptop.
