Abstract

The device of sensor and light based on microcontroller AT89S51 has been done. This device can be used to determine the amount of temperature and light intensity role in the room. In the manufacture of temperature and light sensor device based on microcontroller AT89S51, starting from the selection of temperature and light sensors and signal conditioning,ADC, microcontroller, which is the minimum system control center of the whole system and RS- 232 converter. First picked sensors such as temperature and physical property of light and then sent to the conditioning cues used to adjust the output of the sensor to be read by the ADC.Furthermore, data from the ADC0804 forwarded to the microcontroller and the microcontroller AT89S51 data is then processed by the MAX232 voltage level so that serial data from the microcontroller voltage levels equal to the computer and then the data will be displayed by the seven segments. Data is sent in accordance with the microcontroller input port and output from the temperature in degrees Celsius will at seven segment displayed The system has been successfully realized and can show changes in the temperature graph of the measured in degrees Celsius and at seven segment display. Measured temperature values are in accordance with that contained in the sensor datasheet.
