Abstract
Background: Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) was one of leukemia that signed by the raise of myelopoiesis lineage and Philadelphia chromosome. It was second highest leukemia among adult leukemia, with incidence around 7-20%. Its frequency increases along with age, but peak incidence was found between 40-60 years old. Methods: This research was description with a cross sectional design. Data were consist of age, gender, clinical manifestation and laboratorical findings. The data were collected from medical record of RSUP Dr. Kariadi period January 1st 2005-March 31st 2007. Results: Forty two patients, consisted of 11 males (52,89%) and 8 females(42,11%).Their mean age was 30 years old with highest percentage in 36-40 years old. Clinical manifestation of CML are fatique (100%), splenomegaly (89,47%), weight loss(89,47%), hepatomegaly (52,63%), limfadenopathy (42,10%), fever (63,16%), and hemorrhage (63,16%). Laboratory`s finding of CML are anemia (100%), leukocytosis (100%), limphopenia (94,73%), monositopeni (94,73%), netropenia segmen (84,21%), netrofilia staf (63,16%), thrombocytosis (52,63%), eosinophilia (52,63%), basophilia(21,05%) thrombocytopeni (10,53%), and elevation of uric acid concentration (21,05%). Conclusions: Clinical manifestation and laboratorium of CML in RSUP Dr. Kariadi are fatique, weight loss, splenomegaly, anemia, leukocytosis and lynphopenia.
