HUBUNGAN ANTARA INFEKSI SOIL TRANSMITTED HELMINTHS DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR ANAK SEKOLAH DASAR 03 PRINGAPUS,KABUPATEN SEMARANG JAWA TENGAH

Abstract

Background : STH infection is high prevalence in Indonesia. STH infection can inhibite physic and intelegence growth in children that still growth up. Beside that, it can descend body endurance so easily being another disease. Purpose : to find the corelation between study achievement and infection of soil transmitted helminth of studenth in SDN 03 Pringapus. Methods : this research was designed as a cross-sectional observational study. This study population were all the students in SDN 03 Pringapus. This research sample were five and six grade students SDN 03 Pringapus. Total sample was 53 students. Data was collected by KKM valued, questionnaire and feces. Feces examination was examined with Kato-katz method and analyzed by prevalent ratio(PR). Results : the result of the research showed that 6 children (11,3%) from 53 children had STH infection. Children with STH infection, 5 childerd had less KKM valued . analyzed with prevalent retio, show that STH infection was the risk faktor of decrease study achievement (PR=1,69) Conclusion : STH infection was the risk factor of decrease study achievement students of SDN 03 Pringapus.
