Ones of Eugenia polyantha’s benefits, haven’t much been explored is antihiperlipidemia. Eugenia polyantha contains several active regiments considered to be able to lower triglyceride levels in blood, so may prevent hyperlipidemic condition. Thus, a study to determine the effect of stratified dose of Eugenia polyantha extract on triglyceride serum level in hiperlipidemic rats. Method : An experimental study using control group with pre and post test design was carried out to already made hyperlipidemic Wistar rats. Sample consist of 28 male Wistar rats were divided into 4 groups. They are one control group, receive standard diet only and three treatment group, given extract diet from fresh Eugenia polyantha containing 0,18 gram for treatment I, 0,36 gram for treatment II, and 0,72 gram for treatment III per day for 15 days. Triglyceride serum level was determined using GPO-PAP method. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test ,also using Kruskall-Wallace test and continued with Mann-Whitney test. Result : The administration of three dosage of Eugenia polyantha extract was significantly decreased the triglyceride serum level. Conclusion :The administration of 0,18 gr, 0,36 gr and 0,72 gr fresh Eugenia polyantha which made to extract, significantly reduced the triglyceride serum level in hyperlipidemic rats. Keyword : Hyperlipidemic, Triglyceride serum level, Eugenia polyantha
