Abstract

Background: DHF still be a big problem in public health and social impact and also economics. It’s because DHF is disease with high morbidity rate and high mortality rate. Therefore, it is needed case distribution surveillance and mapping to help directing intervention of prevention. Objectives: To analize the distribution of DHF cases in sub district Tembalang spatially and temporally. Methodes: Research of cross sectional design used primary data and secondary data. Primary data got from GPS that ouput was patients residences astronomical location (longituade and latitude). Secondary data were obtained from DKK Semarang, BMKG Semarang city, BPS Semarang city, and Bappeda Semarang city. Data processed by using Microsoft Excel 2007 and ArcView GIS 3.3. Results: Subjects research were 205 DHF patients lived in sub district Tembalang during the period of January to June 2009. Consisting of 107 men and 98 women. There was cluster in Sendangmulyo and January. Sendangmulyo was village with the highest insidence of DHF cases (31,22%). Peak insidence was occured at January 2009 (25,9%) with the highest total rainfall numbers (457,5 mm3). The age ranged from 6 month to 57 years old and the incidence peaked in 0-10 age group (49,8%). Existence factor of plants around patients residences DBD counted 66%. Conculsion: DHF cases influenced by rainfall, plants around house, and population density. There is cluster tendency of DHF cases at high rainfall, and spreading at low rainfall. Key Word: DHF, spasiotemporal analysis, GIS
