HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN, SIKAP DAN PERILAKU TENTANG FAKTOR RISIKO PENYAKIT SEREBROVASKULAR TERHADAP KEJADIAN STROKE ISKEMIK

Abstract

Background: Aproximatelly 80% from stroke case is ischemic stroke. In Indonesia, stroke is the third most killer and gets rise every year. Knowledge, attitude and behaviour have a big effect to the society health degree. The purposes of this research are to prove association between knowledge, attitude and behaviour about risk factor of cerebrovascular disease for ischemic stroke. Methods: This was a case-contol study, using 30 stroke ischemic sample as a case and 30 not stroke sample with one or more risk factor of stroke as a control, who came to Neurogical and Internal Medicine Polyclinic Kariadi Hospital Semarang during Mei to July 2010. All sample fulfilled the questionnair to measure knowledge, attitude and behaviour. Data was description into table, using Chi square test by SPSS for Windows 15.0. Result: Chi square test between variable refer p>0,05, CI 95% and power 80%, so there is no relation between knowledge, attitude and behaviour about risk factor of cerebrovascular disease for ischemic stroke. Conclution: There is no relation between knowledge, attitude and behaviour about risk factor of cerebrovascular disease for ischemic stroke. Keywords: knowledge, attitude, behaviour, ischemic stroke
