This study aimed to identify the role of the existing organizational culture within an organization, solving problems and finding solutions organization. Research on the role of organizational culture starts from identifying employee perceptions about organizational culture, and then identify the role of organizational culture, and identify the cultural values of the organization. Cultural organizations will initially be influenced by the surrounding culture of the organization members. Shows the organizational culture of the organization's personality. This study uses qualitative methods in which data collection was done by interview to be able to dig more deeply about the role of organizational culture. As an object of this study is associated with this research and have work experience of more than 10 years and worked at PT Simongan Plastic Factory Semarang. Results obtained from this study states that of the five elements of organizational culture that is Leadership, Norms and Practices of Management, Stories and People, Tradition and Ritual Culture, and the symbol of the Organization, already reflects the role of organizational culture in Semarang PT Simongan Plastic Factory.
