ANALISIS SPASIOTEMPORAL KASUS DEMAM TIFOID DI KOTA SEMARANG

Abstract

Background : Typhoid fever is one of healthy problem in developing countries, include Indonesia because it can bring the impact of increasing morbidity and mortality rates. Because of that reason, it’s required mapping surveilance distribution of typhoid fever cases to assist the preventive intervention in order to reduce the insident. This research aim is to analyze image of spasial and temporal distribution of typhoid fever cases in Semarang city. Methods : The research’s design used cross sectional with primary data were latitude and longitude point of target’s sample house location. Secondary data were obtained from typhoid fever cases registered in Semarang which were collected by DKK Semarang, map equiped with density population, floods area from Bappeda Jawa Tengah and also rainfall rates from BMKG Semarang. Then, data were analzyed with Microsoft Excel 2007 and ArcView GIS 33. Result : Total subject’s research is 169 patients consisted of 89 males and 80 females. The highest case number happened in November 2009 (43,8%) which was accompanied with high rainfall rates. The highest incident were found at district of Semarang Barat and district of Genuk with 21 cases (12,4%). Avarage of patient’s ages were from 0 up to 86 years old with the highest number group of age 0-10 years ( 43,8%). Conclusion : Typhoid fever case has a tendency to spread evenly especially in high density population and also in around typhoid fever patient’s house location. Typhoid fever more than happened at the time increasing of rainfall rates. Keywords : typhoid fever, analysis spatiotemporal, SIG
