ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI LELANG BERAS PADA PASAR LELANG FORWARD DI SUB TERMINAL AGRIBISNIS SOROPADAN KABUPATEN TEMANGGUNG PROVINSI JAWA TENGAH

Abstract

Background of this research start from one of forward auction market function that create a good trade system with transparent price deciding mechanism. In forward auction market on STA Soropadan, rice is a commodity with highest auction volume. The problem is why the rice auction volume in Soropadan forward auction market fluctuate and a bit low. This study aims to analyze rice auction volume and the factors that influenced it in Forward Auction Market Agro Commodity in STA Soropadan Temanggung, Central Java Province. As dependent variable is rice auction volume, with four independent variable that is rice price, corn price, government expenditure, and past rice auction volume. This study using secondary data from 2005 to 2008. This study using multiple regression method, while analyzing rice auction volume as dependent variable, and rice price, corn price, government expenditure, past rice auction volume as independent variable. The result of the study shown that rice auction volume is not influenced together by the independent variable. Individually, rice price give negative and significant effect to rice auction volume. Corn price give positive and unsignificant effect to rice auction volume. Government expenditure give positive and unsignificant effect to rice auction volume. Past rice auction volume give negative and unsignificant effect to rice auction volume.
