Job satisfaction is one of important factors to get an optimal performance. When someone feels satisfied on their work, it is absolutely that they will make a maximum efforts with their optimum abillity to done their job. To get an optimum job satisfaction to each individuals, it needs a social support whether its from the family (partner in life), colleague, or boss. According to House (1981) in the Deeter and Ramsey (1997), someone who has a good social support can soothe the stress that come to their job. So if a worker has a great social support, they can manage a job stress very well and has a different way in looking at stress, so it can give a positif impact to workers. This research was held in PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (Central Java). The goal is to know the influence of job stress to job satisfaction with a social support as a moderating variable. Sample for this research are 78 respondens using purposive sampling methode. As a independent variable is job stress, as a dependent variabel is job satisfaction, and as the moderating variable is social support. Analysis that used in this research are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, simple regresion and moderating test. Analysis’ result are using simple regresion (for the 1st hypothesis) and moderating (for 2nd hypothesis), so it showed that job stress variable has a negative influence to job satisfaction (H1), and the interaction variable between job stress and social support has a positive influence to job satisfaction (H2). On the analysis’ result which used t-test showed that job strss and the interaction between job stress and social support has a significant influence to job satisfaction.
