The influence of Room Head Perception about Implementation of Nursing Care Managerial Function on Nurses Satisfactions at Inpatient Rooms of Regional Mental Hospital Dr. Amino Gondohutomo Semarang, 2009

Abstract

Managerial function of the room head at the Regional Mental Hospital Dr. Amino Gondohutomo in Semarang still has problems on the nurses perceived function on planning, organizing, supervising, and monitoring, which may influence their satisfaction. Satisfaction is an emotional condition or general attitude on the discrepancy between accepted and appropriate reward on factors of tasks, adaptation and social relationship at an external work environment. The aim of this research was to analyze the influence of the room heads perception on nursing care managerial function towards Nurses Satisfaction at Inpatient Room of mental hospital Dr. Amino Gondohutomo, Semarang. Results of this research show that most of the respondents had good planning (65,4%), good organizing (48,1%), good supervision (40,4%), good monitoring (51,9%) and satisfied (80,0%). Based on bivariate analysis, variables planning, organizing and monitoring have a significant relationship with nurses satisfaction at inpatient room of the hospital. Result of multivariate analysis reveals that variables of planning (p: 0,002, Exp B: 32,637) and organizing (p :0,024, Exp B : 11,808) together influence towards nurses satisfaction at inpatient Room of Regional Mental Hospital Dr. Amino Gondohutomo Semarang Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
