Abstract

Banyumanik Hospital is a strategically located hospital in the middle of populous community. In this area, a hospital should have its best development and growth, especially in inpatient services. In fact, however, there are many problems in medical, nursing, and supportive services that may disturb hospital services. It is assumed that CEO and Governing Body have not yet thinking strategically in inpatient quality services. The aim of this research was to understand about the perception of CEO and Governing Body on strategic thinking of inpatient quality services. The results indicated that the subjects did not have spesific purposes and core values, have no customer-oriented programs, have not involving the staff and the vision was negative. From the evaluation of medical, nursing, and supportive quality services; it was found that the perception of quality was still lacking. It can be concluded that CEO and Governing Body had not thinking about which activities should be started or stopped. The perception of CEO and Governing Body on strategic thinking of inpatient quality services was not fully accurate yet. It is recommended that CEO and Governing Body should always have a strategic thinking in assessing the activities running in inpatient services. Sumber Utama : www.mikm.undip.ac.id
